Our Story

Family's Choice Day Home Network Agency (FCDNA) was founded with a powerful vision: to ensure every family in Alberta has access to quality, safe, and inclusive home-based childcare, and every passionate caregiver has the comprehensive support they need to succeed.

Our team brings together decades of combined experience in early childhood education, family support services, and community development. Having witnessed firsthand the challenges parents face in finding trustworthy, culturally-responsive care—and the struggles of home-based educators working in isolation—we created FCDNA to bridge these gaps with a modern, transparent approach.

What sets us apart is our commitment to complete transparency and cultural sensitivity. Led by Francia Bodoso, Michelle Riske, and Sheila Patron, our multilingual, multicultural team understands the unique needs of Alberta's diverse families. We don't just license educators—we empower them with backup care during illness, mental health resources, and comprehensive professional development support.

While we may be a newer agency, our foundation is built on years of childcare expertise and a genuine passion for supporting both educators and families. We're not bound by outdated practices—instead, we're building the future of family day home care in Alberta: transparent, inclusive, and truly supportive.
